What is League Bowling? League bowling is the cheapest way to
play the game! Games are discounted!
It only costs
$6 (adults) and $5 (junior and seniors) to join as a league member at Tenpin
Manukau for the year!
 If you
are a league bowler you can bring your friends and family bowling at
cheaper rates too!
Leagues meet on a regular scheduled
basis (normally once a week) to
compete against each other as teams.
League bowlers consist of people of all age groups, of all walks of
life, and of all levels of athletic skill.
Some leagues compete for trophies, but all of them compete for
the fun of bowling.
 For every league we keep your scores and work out your
average.
For this we work out a
fair 'handicap', for you which allows for a more equal form of
competition.
For example,
an inexperienced bowler can compete with a bowler of more
experience and skill and still have a chance to win. e.g. if your average was 80 your 'handicap" or head start would be 120, if your bowled a
higher average, say 140 your head start would only be 60 pin per game!
Each league is different and has its own unique "personality". You can sign up on your own, with a friend or an entire team. All you have to do is inquire at the customer service desk, and a centre representative will be happy to help you find the PERFECT league for you! call us on 277 9296 to find out! |
