Tenpin Manukau
School Sponsorship Policy
2008
Dear Primary & Intermediate schools,
In 2006, I initiated our 'Schools
Sponsorship Policy'.
Since then the centre has had regular term
mailouts to every participating junior school in the South Auckland
region.
The following has been donated and
distributed..
a) two free bowling games per classroom
(these can be distributed according to any school policy)
b) two free 'Class Award Certificates' per
classroom
This is our way of supporting the local
school communities and thanking them (and the children's parents!) for
supporting Tenpin Manukau as a local activity centre for their
students.
I am also mindful that not ALL
children are naturally good at physical or hand-to-eye
sports.
I believe, through observation
of students in my bowling centres, that both skills can be easily transferred to
children within the supportive tenpin bowling environment.
I regularly ask for feedback on the value of our 'Schools
Sponsorship Policy' and would welcome correspondence by email especially!
If your school or Trustee Board is
not participating but would like more information, please email me at
strikem@xtra.co.nz
yours
sincerely,
Andrew Gunn
Managing Director &
Owner.
